For my cousin’s 18th Birthday I made her an ocean inspired necklace and earrings set.
She loves all things under the sea, in particular whales and dolphins…. so what to make her? A whale tail necklace with splash drop earrings of course!
And as, she too, is a February birthday, it just had to be an amethyst stone… these ones a beautiful pastel Lavender Amethyst.
A few in process shots…
…. and the finished piece…
Happy Birthday Nicole :)
I hope you like them!
Check out this little cutie!
Her name is Hattie. She belongs to my wonderful Aunt and Uncle, and she makes a rather beautiful Zendoodle merdog!

My Birthday was on Saturday, we didn’t take all that many photos… but I just had to share some snaps of my fabulous cake by Mummy Candy Cupcake!
The two year old in me was more excited by the fact that I got to keep the toys!
And it tasted AWESOME!!!
Thank you everyone for a rather lovely chilled out Birthday, and thank you to everyone who sent me birthday messages, cards and gifts… you all rock!!
This is my second year of filming seconds.
If you didn’t see last year, pop on over to 20th One Second Every Day and check out the inspiration behind the film.
It’s always interesting looking back at a year. I feel like my Degree Show was soooo long ago, but it was only the start of this year. This year for me was rather boring. Looking back I can see that. I’m glad I’ve filmed all these seconds and I’ve come to that realisation. It will push me this year to make life more exciting! to get those interesting seconds!
Anyway! hope you like my little film :)
See you on the other side…
All these roses that have been floating around recently, gave me the inspiration for a new Zendoodle… and in turn an idea for a birthday gift for Mrs Cupcake!
I got to work making her one of my photo pebbles.
She loves huge jewellery… so I hope she’ll like this HUGE pendant!!
All polished up and pretty, I displayed the finished necklace on a frame containing the original Zendoodle drawing. Oh and the beads of the chain are faceted carnelians.
I do realise the back looks a little devilish, especially with the red stitching… this wasn’t my intention! but it did make her laugh!!
Oh and the portrait inside? My parents of course! Snapped on a little campervanning holiday down in the New Forest.
What do you think?
I love these photo pebbles so much I’ve opened them up for commissions!
